Wah! It's the end of the year!

Duh... (I know that's what you're thinking).

But seriously - my boss just put a 2009 diary on my desk and it's hit home. I know I keep saying that I want this year to end and that I need a holiday. That's all true. But at the same time, it's another year of my life gone. And I don't want to be wishing my years away.

What if I got hit by a bus tomorrow and I'd spent today wishing my last day on earth over? Hmmm... makes me think... Now to translate that into some action...

Well, at least if I do get hit by a bus tomorrow I'll have left a semi-phiosophical blog post as my last ;-)

Off to tell TSC how much I love him, put in some hard work and then tonight it's my church's Christmas carols concert. Yay!

Glad to hear you're back to feeling healthy, by the way. And I'm off to do some Christmas shopping soon!!!

I always think about this with my kids. I wish each "annoying" phase would just end, and then I sit for a second and feel bad wishing their days away so they'll be a bit older.

Makes ya think. ;)

31337: the happee is still here. It's just sharing space with the philosophical at present. As for the carols... varsity has already ended, kids are off on holiday soon and Johannesburg empties out in early December, so the church does the carols while everyone's still around.

HMR: The venue is only available on Sunday's and Mondays, and there are only a couple of those left before Christmas.

Being Brazen: Yup. Need to try to live every moment to the full.

Kitty: I love Christmas shopping! But I lack funds this year :-(

Sass: Sure does.

Rox: pleasure, treasure ;-) Both times.

Shania: And it's already more than halfway through!
