Return of the sci-fi epic

So, having seen Wolverine and having hated it, I was a little apprehensive about heading to see the also-very-hyped Star Trek. But we went anyway.

And it was awesome!

I was crying by about three minutes into the movie, laughing at five, confused by six... It was a glorious rollercoaster of emotions, explosions, paradoxes, people, Vulcans and visions... Just my kind of movie.

See it!

I raved about it to Icing. She laughed at me and said she'd never have pinned me as a Trekkie. I never was. But I may consider it now. So long as I can get me one of those phaser thingeys.

Let's hope the sequels don't ruin everything Pirates-of-the-Caribbean-style.

I nearly went to see it, but ended up discussing the meaning of life instead. Although I did kind of enjoy Wolverine... does that mean i'll hate Star Trek?

yeah, i'm still angry about Pirates hey? could not have just left it well alone. Although I have to admit, the flying dutchman was a very cool ship.

I have always loved Star Trek, and I laughed. I dried. I screamed at the screen. I gripped Glugster's leg when it was tense.
